Well, cranks, it was another one of those four inning runaways with Rohrer’s beating McDonalds 13:1 in four innings. As the writer of this blog, I can say for sure that this is an excellent ball club. I personally would like to watch a full game of baseball, but if this is what it takes to get our boys to the top…”Four Inning Games” then so be it.
As the visitors, the boys went to the bat first. And I mean to the “Bats”! Blake tore the cover off the ball for a triple; Dylan nailed a double bringing in Blake. Brent got a single for an RBI and Nate Dixon got another single RBI. Kyle Bainbridge also got a single. And when Nate stole home,  the score popped to 4-0.
T.J. Schappell grounded out while J.T. Fulkrod stole first and got on base on a drop. Matt Ross and Troy both went down swinging for the final outs.
Brent Kaunas, the fast right hander, started out to the mound.  With a walk and two strike outs, T.J. Schappell threw out the McDonalds kid who tried to bunt for the second out.
Top of the second and Blake got a standup double. Dylan wacked one to deep L.F. for a double and Brent popped out. Nate Dixon blasted one up against the wall in deep center for a double. Kyle, also, nailed one to deep center for another double. T. J. Schappell got a RBI single. J.T. popped out to second. Matt Ross got a nice hit bouncing by the short stop for an RBI single. Troy Oswald got hit with a pitch and took his base. Returning to the top of the order and Blake popped out to R.F.
Bottom of the second finds Brent on the mound with two Strike outs, a walk and Nate Dixon throwing out a runner at second.
In the third inning, with the bats still going, Dylan banged a single to L.F and Brent got a double. Nate Dixon tore the cover off the ball on a hard hit triple. I guess these boys can’t be stopped! Kyle nailed a double to deep left while T. J. grounded out to short. J.T. struck out. Matt Ross ended another big inning with a strike out.
Bottom of the third inning found Big Nate Dixon taking the mound. Nate gave up a single to the first batter. In trying to steal second the McDonald`d batter got out when  Catcher T.J. Schappell threw to Brent at short, and they get the runner in a run down. Next batter got a single. Nate walked the next batter and with a look of frustration on his mug, he let fly another pitch. This short chopper went to short and J.t. got the runner heading to third. Nate took a deep breath, went back to work and struck out the next batter.
Top of the fourth and Andrew Phillips came in and got on base with a walk. Blake singled while Dylan got a double on an over throw. Brent came to bat and switch hit left handed for a single. Nate got a single, then Kyle walked and T.J. grounded out.
Nate finished the game with a pop up caught as it came towards him, a strike out in 3 pitches, a walk and another strike out to end the game.
Well, Cranks, the mighty shadow of the Rohrer’s ball club falls over the McDonalds club once again for the victory of 13-1.
Well done, boys!
